About Diane Kasperowicz
Having worked in the film and television industry for more than 15 years, Diane decided she wanted something more out of life than 4am starts and living out of a suitcase so decided to pursue her dream of working with dogs.
After many years of study, Diane wanted to get hands-on with her practice – not only training dogs, but walking and caring for them full time. And so Off the Lead was born!
She is owned by two Staffordshire Bull Terriers – George and Rocky. They join her on some of the walks and also act as ‘teaching dogs’ or ‘stooge dogs’ for behavioural training. George has done quite a lot of TV work and Rocky is currently learning some new tricks so he can join George on the big screen. George has completed his Kennel Club Gold Good Citizen Award and demos with Diane at dog shows and her talks/workshops.
Diane is passionate about dogs and feels that she “has the best job in the world”. She believes that she never stops learning and loves the fact that every day is different. She is fascinated by canine communication and loves to see her group of dogs playing and learning from one another.
Diane uses kind, fair and up-to-date positive reward based methods. She is a firm believer that kindness really is powerful and that by rewarding your dog and building a really strong bond, you will get the best out of him (or her). It really is ‘Cool to be Kind’ and wherever she goes, you can be sure there are lots of yummy treats and some very well behaved dogs that follow…
Diane is a full member (no: 01250) of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (no:330) and the Pet Professional Guild UK
Off The Lead Team
The small, dedicated Off the Lead team has extensive experience with dogs, so you can rest assured that your dog is in safe hands. We love your dog as much as you do and strive to ensure they are happy, healthy and return home relaxed and ready for your return.
Mental and Physical Exercise
We believe that dogs benefit from not just physical exercise but also mental stimulation and incorporate it into our walks. Our walks are structured in a way that we add in some training as well as fun stuff like treasure hunts to keep the brain active too. We have a box full of toys and games to make our walks more interesting.
"WE KNOW HE HAS THE BEST TIME WITH HIS DOGGY FRIENDS"
It’s really hard leaving your pet in the hands of a stranger, but when we met Diane we knew we had found a best friend for our dog Horace. Horace adores her and waits for her every morning. He comes back extremely happy and tired! We know he has the best time with his doggy friends and it has made a huge difference to us knowing we have someone we can trust with our dog.
Rob Stringer - Clapham
We like to give our dogs mental stimulation and often have treasure hunts whilst out in the park. Our dogs LOVE using their noses to sniff out our goodies and yours will too.
We like to ensure we keep up the training you already have in place as well as expanding it. Our dogs love our group training sessions. This gives more structure to our walks.
VARIETY AND ENRICHMENT
We go to lots of different places to give your dogs variety. We go to woodlands, parks and commons and find great places for a swim or paddle.
